How to use the SonicMOTOR e‑warranty
A step-by-step guide for car owners and for installation studios.
What is the e-warranty?
Every SonicMOTOR film installed by an authorized studio gets a digital warranty record. There is no paper to lose: the record lives in the SonicMOTOR registry, and the owner receives an e-certificate with a QR code that anyone can verify online, in seconds.
For car owners: check your warranty

Open the warranty page
Go to the Warranty page of the SonicMOTOR website and choose the tab “Warranty Query”.

Choose what you search by
Pick one: Roll / Serial Number, Frame / VIN, License Plate or Owner Phone. The serial number is printed on your warranty certificate.

Type it exactly and press Check
Type the number exactly as it is written, without extra spaces. For your privacy the system only shows a record when the entry matches exactly. A partial number shows nothing.

Read your certificate
A verified record shows the customer name, the car, the film, the installation date and how many years of warranty it has. If nothing is found, check the spelling or try another field (for example the plate instead of the serial).

Scan the QR code
Every certificate has a QR code. Scanning it opens the SonicMOTOR page with your serial already searched, so you can show it to a buyer, an insurer or a service centre.

For studios: register and manage warranties

Create a studio account
Press “Sign in” at the top of the website, then “Sign Up”. Enter your studio or company name, email, phone, city and a password of at least 8 characters.

Wait for approval
New studios are approved by SonicMOTOR before they can issue warranties. This keeps the registry authentic. You can sign in as soon as you are approved.

Register an installation
Sign in, open the Warranty page, tab “Warranty Entry”, and press “Register an installation”. Fill in the customer name, car frame number (VIN), license plate, film, the roll serial number and the installation date.

Get the e-certificate
After saving, the certificate opens on screen. You can download it as a PDF (high resolution, with the QR code and the warranty years of the film), or send it to the customer on WhatsApp in one tap.

Add installation photos
You can add up to 6 photos to each warranty (JPEG, PNG or WebP). They are resized before upload, so phone photos work fine.

See and correct your records
Open the tab “My Registrations” to search and review everything you registered. You can correct a record for 30 days after you created it (the serial number cannot be changed). After 30 days it is locked: contact SonicMOTOR to change it.
Questions and answers
Is my warranty valid if I can not find it online?
Warranties are registered by the studio that installed your film. If nothing is found, ask your studio to check the record, or contact SonicMOTOR on WhatsApp with your car details.
How long does the warranty last?
It depends on the film. The warranty years are listed in the table above and are shown on your certificate.
I lost my certificate. What now?
Search your plate, VIN or phone number in “Warranty Query”. The certificate can be opened again at any time.
Can anyone see my details?
No. A record only appears when someone enters the exact serial, VIN, plate or phone number. There is no public list of customers.
The studio made a mistake in my record.
The studio can correct it for 30 days. After that, contact SonicMOTOR and we will update it.
